😴 Did you know there are 3 main types of sleep-related breathing disorders (SRBDs)?

1️⃣ Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA): The airway gets blocked during sleep.
2️⃣ Central Sleep Apnea (CSA): The brain doesn’t send the right breathing signals.
3️⃣ Complex Sleep Apnea: A mix of both OSA and CSA.

All three can leave you tired, foggy, and at risk for serious health problems if left untreated. The good news? With the right diagnosis and care, better sleep—and better health—are possible. 🌙✨

Kids with constant allergies or frequent colds often develop the habit of mouth breathing. While it might seem harmless, over time it can impact jaw development, airway development, and even lead to misaligned teeth.

When the airway isn’t functioning properly, children may struggle with sleep, focus, and overall health. The good news? With an airway-focused dental approach, these issues can be identified early and guide proper growth—helping kids breathe, sleep, and thrive. 🌟

🤔 Ever wonder what the difference is between TMJ and TMD? You’re not alone!

👉 TMJ stands for temporomandibular joint—the hinge that connects your jaw to your skull, helping you talk, chew, and yawn.
👉 TMD stands for temporomandibular disorder—a condition that affects how that joint works.

If you’re experiencing jaw pain, popping or clicking, headaches, or difficulty opening and closing your mouth, make sure to contact an airway-focused dentist!
