The client relationship*
Organizing is one of the most personal jobs you can have with an external client. When someone hires a personal organizer they are hiring someone into their home to go through their (or a loved ones) possessions. Being able to establish common ground and goal setting are key components to building a productive working relationship. And the relationship between each client is different.
I have clients who like to sit down with coffee for a chat before we start a project. I have clients who are knee deep into a project when I wade in. I have clients who like to jam out while we work (dancing has been involved) and clients who prefer quiet. Everyone's needs vary.
I have worked with so many amazing people on the treasure coast! Representative of every age, s*x, creed, and religion.
So if you think you could use a hand, give us a call.
No, It's probably not as bad as you think.

I grabbed this meme going around facebook. You might have looked at it and "haha yeah ... we've all been there". But having a disorganized environment definitely does affect an individual's mental health.
Many of the clients we work with have experienced some kind of life transition. While trying to cope with every day tasks, thing like organizing the mail or putting up laundry becomes secondary.
And not all transitions have to be negative! A move or a new baby can be joyful but equally as stressful as any loss.
Most times the problem people have is where to start. And how to start. And who to start with (cause let's face it, no one wants to hear ... if you only ... or if you weren't so ...or my favorite ... if you had just)

Inviting someone into your space is hard. Inviting someone into your clutter is harder.
Many people living in a disorganized space worry about judgement from family and friends if they reach out for assistance. Also, when cleaning and organizing, family and friends may do what they assume is right (throwing things away or moving items) without asking because they /know you/ and what’s best for you.
This is where A2Z comes in. We assist clients in cleaning out and organizing spaces big and small, from a whole house to a linen closet, without judgement or conditions.
We listen to a client’s needs and wants, then develop a plan to target those areas.
We start every client relationship with an hour long walk through, identifying problem areas and discussing a client’s short term and/or long term goals (Linda is coming for dinner next Saturday and I haven’t seen my table in 6 months vs. I’d like to set my closet to seasonal organization because I’ve lost all my tank tops)
