Roland Warren will be the keynote speaker tomorrow evening at our 41st Annual Banquet Fundraiser! October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month! We're celebrating the immeasurable value of every human life, especially those with Down syndrome. In the US, 1 in every 700 babies born has down syndrome, according to globaldownsyndrome.org. Results from a study in 2011 on PubMed Central reveal "the overwhelming majority of parents who have children with Down syndrome report that they love their son or daughter and are proud of them".

At Care Net IRC, we believe every baby is a gift from God, created with purpose and worthy of love, protection, and celebration. We are thankful for the opportunity to come alongside pregnant women and families, not just during Down syndrome awareness month but all year long! Your support for the ministry truly impacts local families facing pregnancy decisions or needing parenting support in our area. Special thanks to Patricia and her mom, who serve in our Baby Boutique and sort through clothes and other donations to support families in our community. She brightens up everyone's day when she comes to Care Net!

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. Our hearts go out to those who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, pregnancy loss, or early infancy. Today, October 15th, is the official Day of Remembrance. Please join us in a moment of reflection and prayer for those affected. ❤️‍🩹

Every life matters... And every precious loss is worth being grieved over.

Moms, you are courageous. If you and/or someone you know is grieving the loss of a child, call Care Net at 772.569.7939. Our Maternal Grief Support program is a safe place where we come alongside women in their healing journey from miscarriage, stillbirth, pregnancy loss, or early infancy.
