It was a special night celebrating the groundbreaking of the Emergency Department at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.

Funded by the generosity of our community, the remodeling project comes at a critical time, as emergency patient volumes have steadily increased since the last renovation in the early 2000s. To accommodate this growth, Cleveland Clinic is undertaking a comprehensive renovation and expansion that includes updating more than 9,000 square feet and adding more than 8,000 square feet of new space, featuring low-acuity treatment stations, private exam rooms for acute care and a rebuilt main ED entrance.
Construction began with the FlexCare area and will continue through 2027.
