We hope that everyone made it through the last few days safely with your loved ones. Our staff is safe and with their families.

Healthy Body Massage remains open with limited availability.

As we monitor the day to day advice given by local and national authorities, we remain open to our clients.

As a low volume massage establishment we have always limited our clients contact with other people, as well as take the time necessary to properly sanitize between clients.

Our cancellation policy has been temporarily suspended. As always, if you are not feeling well or suspect that you may be ill or are becoming ill you may cancel or reschedule your appointment at any time. Additionally, until further notice you may cancel your appointment if you feel uncomfortable or otherwise feel the need to do so.

A customer recently asked “How do you get your sheets so clean?”

The answer to this question is a complex one as the process of laundering our linens has several stages.


Since day one Healthy Body Massage has laundered our linens ourselves. Our laundry is currently processed in our private, off site facility. In this facility we not only wash, but sanitize all of our linens. All linens are inspected for stains or other imperfections prior to washing. Pretreatment with a concentrated hydrogen peroxide and surfactant solution for all stains is completed. Linens are then laundered in 170°F water for 90 minutes in small batches with a mixture of a coconut based surfactant, bleach (for white and light colored linens only), and hydrogen peroxide. The linens are then run through a water only wash cycle to thoroughly rinse away anything that might remain. Finally, the linens are thoroughly dried at a high temperature. All laundry baskets are thoroughly disinfected using a medical grade disinfectant after unloading the linens for washing. These procedures not only keep our linens looking and smelling clean, but also exceed the suggested procedures to kill any bacteria or viruses on the linens.

More recently, in light of the current virus outbreaks, our disinfecting and sanitzation procedures were re-evaluated to keep our clients safe. While we regularly exceed guidelines for disinfecting and sanitation, our staff is now increasing the frequency in which common surfaces are sanitized.
