The City of Vero Beach has officially proclaimed April 2026 as Parkinson’s Awareness Month.

This proclamation is more than a statement—it’s a commitment to raising awareness, supporting those living with Parkinson’s, and honoring the caregivers, families, and advocates who stand beside them every day.

Parkinson’s affects millions of individuals and families, and together, we can help bring greater understanding, compassion, and resources to those impacted in our community.

Let this month be a reminder to learn, share, and support.

💙 You are not alone.
💙 Your story matters.
💙 Our community stands with you.

Join us this month in spreading awareness, attending local events, and supporting those affected by Parkinson’s.

💙 Spark the Night was a beautiful celebration of community, connection, and purpose.

On April 11, our Center for Memory & Movement family came together in honor of World Parkinson’s Day—dressed in blue and united in support. The evening was filled with laughter, meaningful moments, and new connections, all set against a glowing backdrop of lights, music, and shared experiences.
From fun photo ops to a lively atmosphere, it was a night that truly reflected the strength and spirit of our community—locally and as part of a global movement.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the night so special. And a special shout out to David and Leah LoPresti for “sparking” the idea for the gathering, and to Hummingbird Care Services for underwriting the event.
