Today at Somerset House, we spent the afternoon getting creative with a fun craft activity! Our residents made beautiful decoupage pumpkins, each one unique and full of personality. It was a relaxing, hands-on project that brought out lots of smiles, conversation, and creativity. We always enjoy moments like these that brighten our day and let everyone express themselves through art.

Today at Somerset House, we had a wonderful time cooking with Chef Rose!
Residents rolled up their sleeves to make delicious cranberry cheese pastries, filling the room with sweet aromas and lots of laughter. It was a fun, hands-on experience that everyone enjoyed.

Baking isn’t just tasty—it’s beneficial too! It helps stimulate creativity, improves fine motor skills, encourages social engagement, and brings a sense of accomplishment with every treat made. Today was the perfect blend of learning, joy, and delicious bites.

We had a fantastic outing to Toro Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi! Our residents had an amazing time enjoying the lively hibachi experience — from the exciting fire show to the fun of catching food in their mouths and even a little sake tasting! Laughter, great food, and wonderful memories filled the day. 🍣🔥🥢

Today was Black and Orange Day here at Somerset House! 🧡🖤 Our residents showed their festive spirit by dressing in fun Halloween colors. This morning, we also enjoyed a lovely walk around the water with a few of our residents — the fresh air and great company made it a perfect start to the day!

We had an amazing time celebrating Oktoberfest with a festive beer tasting! Residents sampled different beers, each with its own unique flavor and story. From light and crisp to bold and malty, every sip was a hit! Prost to good times, great company, and the spirit of Oktoberfest! 🎉🍺
