Wondering to expect on your first visit to Verona Chiropractic? Here's a breakdown of what you can expect during your 60 minute appointment:
* Prior to your appointment we will email your new patient paperwork to fill out online.
* When you arrive for your appointment you will be greeted by our front desk personnel. You can choose to sit in our waiting area or sit in our complimentary massage chair if you have a few minutes before your appointment.
* The doctor will give you a short office tour and take you to a treatment room.
* The doctor will take a complete health history and perform a physical examination and evaluation of your individual problem.
* A consultation on your specific diagnosis will follow, along with a discussion of treatment options including if chiropractic care is right for you.
* The doctor will listen to all of your health concerns and answer any questions before moving forward with care.
* You will receive an adjustment which is suited to your individual needs. Our chiropractors are versed in many different techniques and will find one or a combination of some that will work best for you and your individual situation.

How filthy is your water bottle?! Do you just give it a good rinse? Or do you clean it regularly? You'd be surprised at what can grow on the surface and the inside. Cleaning it regularly is important to prevent harmful bacteria and mold from growing on the inside which could make you sick.

Here are some tips for proper care and cleaning:

* DO wash it (the bottle AND the parts) once daily with hot water and soap
* DO sanitize it once a week in equal parts hot water and vinegar
* DO use a bottle brush especially if it doesn't have a wide spout
* DO use a drinking straw cleaning brush to clean the straw
* DO remove the sealing ring and scrub the ring and cap with hot water and soap
* DO clean your water bottle by hand even if your water bottle is dishwasher safe
* DO leave it turned upside down to dry completely

* DON'T leave it in places where the water can heat up as it accelerates the growth of germs
* DON'T share your water with anyone else so that you don't introduce contaminants
* DON'T add anything to your water (e.g. tea, powders, etc.) to lessen bacteria growth
* DON'T forget that cleaning your water bottles every day is very important!
