We’re proud to celebrate one of our incredible team members and House Supervisor at Azura of Verona, Rhonda Meinen, for receiving a 2026 WALA - Wisconsin Assisted Living Association Hero Award!

The WALA Hero Awards recognize outstanding assisted living professionals across Wisconsin who go above and beyond to provide exceptional care and compassion.

Rhonda joined Azura nearly six years ago after deciding to pursue a more meaningful career and quickly discovered her true calling as a caregiver. Known for her compassion, strong work ethic, and dedication to learning about dementia care, Rhonda builds deep connections with residents and their families every day.

Now serving as House Supervisor, she continues to support residents while also mentoring and training new caregivers across Azura communities. Her leadership, heart, and commitment to person-centered care truly embody what it means to have the heart of a hero.
