New Day Ranch New Day Ranch addresses mental health barriers through horse-assisted therapeutic programs.

Located in Verona, KY - just 30 minutes south of Cincinnati - New Day Ranch uses horse-assisted therapy to address the mental and cognitive health needs of youth and adults. Emotionally intelligent and acutely sensitive, horses are highly effective at mirroring attitudes and behaviors of the humans with whom they are working, which makes them unique contributors to the field of mental wellness and

to New Day Ranchโ€™s programs. Our programs offer support to children working through grief triggered by the death of a loved one and veterans/first responders experiencing PTSD. Our programs also allow individuals with cognitive disorders to still engage in activities that stimulate both their minds and bodies. Local schools bring students to New Day Ranch to help them develop skills such as responsibility, communication, and teamwork. We introduce at-risk youth living in urban areas to New Day Ranchโ€™s serene green space, where they can learn new skills in a hands-on farm environment. More than 400 individuals from the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area benefit from New Day Ranchโ€™s programs each year.

New day Ranch just finished our programs for the 2025-2026 school year!

We have worked diligently to connect with many schools in the Boone and Kenton county area!

We have been so grateful to work with new schools this year as well! Hundreds of students served this school year and learning important skills with our horses that will assist them in their futures!

We had 30 Jones Middle School Youth Service Center students come to New Day Ranch yesterday!

They stacked hay, cleaned saddles, cleaned water buckets, and cleaned the horse fields! We are ready for summer programming!

SAINTS SERVE๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™ Thomas More University

Thank you so much to the Psychology Club and the Men and Women Bowling Teams for serving at New Day Ranch this semester!!!

These wonderful students were able to get our saddles cleaned, our horse blankets organized, all of our flower beds mulched, and all of our program things like our students boots, pool noodles, and cones all cleaned up and ready for summer!!!
