Alright guys session number 2 is quickly approaching. Trina has a great slide deck prepared and I can’t wait to talk about all the things you can do to help your body repair and recover. Tune in Sunday evening and take note. This pertains to athletes, weekend warriors and all of you trying to fulfill that New Year’s resolution
Athletes don’t break down because they aren’t training hard enough. They break down because their bodies aren’t supported well enough.
This series is great for the youth athlete, high school & college level as well as the weekend warriors & your every day gym goers!
Sam Wentz sees this every day as a strength coach working directly with athletes. Her own health story has been the catapult behind her passion. She understands firsthand that performance isn’t just built in the weight room—it’s built in the fuel, recovery, and daily habits that support the body behind the scenes. Her passion is helping athletes fuel their bodies so training actually sticks—and recovery doesn’t fall apart. Her approach bridges strength training with nutrition strategies that help athletes train harder, recover faster, and stay resilient.
Dr. Stephen Winner brings over a decade of experience as both a football coach and physical therapist. With recent advanced training in cutting edge concussion management, his focus has expanded beyond rehab to the gut–brain connection, showing how what athletes eat directly impacts brain health, nervous system recovery, and long-term performance.
Trina and Sandra will also chime in, sharing their insight as moms and wellness advocates—highlighting how caring for a parent’s own health, nutrition, and nervous system creates a powerful ripple effect that directly supports their children’s resilience, recovery, and long-term performance.
Together, they bring real-world coaching, clinical expertise, and practical nutrition strategies to help athletes become stronger, more resilient, and truly built to last. This series isn’t about doing more. It’s about supporting the body the right way—so athletes can perform, recover, and last.
