Morgan County SB40 Board for the Developmentally Disabled

We are here to help meet the challenges people with disabilities and their families face every day. For more than 30 years our friends and neighbors have helped others learn about our services and get the help they need. A referral for services can be made by contacting the Central Missouri Regional Office at: 573-441-6278 and request to speak with an intake coordinator. They will complete an initial evaluation over the phone. If you are determined to be eligible for services, they will proceed by sending an application packet to you or schedule a time to assist you in completing the packet (if requested). The Morgan County SB40 Board for the Developmentally Disabled is a local governmental entity responsible for administering county funds for the development and operation of services for individuals with developmental disabilities. The Morgan County SB40 Board was established in 1978 after Morgan County voters approved a property tax levy of 5 cents per 100.00 of assessed valuation designed to provide expansion of the Quality Industries Sheltered Workshop and also assist with other related services for persons with developmental disabilities residing in Morgan County.

Job Opening: Service Coordinator
Morgan County SB40 Board for the Developmentally Disabled – Full-Time
The Morgan County SB40 Board for the Developmentally Disabled seeks a Full-time Service Coordinator. Our focus is to ensure that the individuals we serve are provided with the services and support that they need to be successful in their daily lives. The role of Service Coordinator is contracted through the Missouri Department of Mental Health, and helps to ensure access to medical, social, educational, and community support while promoting independence, inclusion, and person-centered outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver person-centered services and support to people with developmental disabilities living in Morgan County.
• Meet with individuals and their support teams to develop and maintain individualized service plans.
• Coordinate services and resources and work with local agencies and providers.
• Advocate for individuals’ rights and needs.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly service monitoring of waivered services.
Qualifications
• Four-year bachelor’s degree required.
• Human services experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
Compensation
Starting pay is $22.11 hourly. Benefits offered- health, dental and vision insurance, free life insurance, retirement and paid time off.
