We’re not like everyone else — and honestly? That’s kind of the point. 🌿

At Salt & Light, we don’t just treat the symptom in front of us. We ask why. We look at the whole picture — top to bottom — and we work alongside your other providers because we know great outcomes don’t happen in silos.

And when specialty care is what you need? We’ll tell you. We’ve spent years building relationships with providers we trust, so you never have to navigate that alone.

Swipe through to see what sets us apart. 👉
If you’ve been looking for a practice that actually connects the dots for you or your child, we’d love to be part of your team.

✨ Salt & Light is HIRING! ✨

I am looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist who is ready to do meaningful, impactful work with amazing families right here in our community. 🧡

This is not your average SLP position. Salt & Light is a niche practice, and I need someone who is:

✅ Reliable, responsible, and a true independent thinker
✅ A problem solver who takes ownership of their work
✅ Experienced specifically in speech sound disorders
✅ Eager and willing to be trained in myofunctional therapy, pediatric feeding, and/or lactation.

This position starts part-time with the very real opportunity to grow into a full-time role for the right person. We are flexible, we are laid-back, and we genuinely love what we do and who we serve.

If you are an SLP (or know one!) who is looking for a place to grow, contribute, and be part of something special — I would love to connect. 💬

Drop a comment, send me a message, or share this post with someone who might be a great fit. Thank you! 🙏

You can also send your resume to hello@saltandlight-slp.com

I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Heather Brown—a local Birmingham mom—on her podcast, and it was such a meaningful conversation 🤍

We talked all about:
✨ Myofunctional therapy
✨ Mouth breathing and its impact on sleep & attention
✨ How these pieces connect to your child’s overall health

🎧 That episode will be coming soon, and I can’t wait to share it with you!

In the meantime, I highly recommend following along with her—she shares so much encouragement around health, wellness, faith, and motherhood, and it’s such a gift to have voices like hers in our local community.
She also has a beautiful episode with Ruth Chou Simons that I recently listened to and loved.

Go give her a follow, and I’ll be sharing my episode as soon as it’s live!

At Salt & Light Speech-Language Resources, we believe every person is fearfully and wonderfully made — and sometimes that means walking alongside families to help the body work the way God designed it to.
