We'd like to take a minute and offer a Facebook introduction of our division of pediatric-focused Occupational Therapy, known to our community and its families as Equipt Kids! Be sure to follow along as we release more content over the coming weeks!

Hey everyone, and welcome! If you’re new here on Facebook (like we are!), allow us to introduce our mission and the woman behind it!

Equipt Kids is a division of Liv Equipt, which provides client-centered occupational therapy & functional, in-home solutions. Equipt Kids focuses on serving the pediatric population with the same dedication to our clients through life-changing occupational therapy services.

Meet Amy Marchant!

Amy is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist with over 10 years of experience helping clients in the Birmingham area. Her passion is simple but powerful: helping people live fully at home, no matter their age or ability.

With advanced training in home modifications, aging in place, and accessibility, Amy works with both adults and children to create spaces that truly support daily life. As a mom of three, she brings not only expertise but also empathy and advocacy to every client she serves.

Through Liv Equipt and Equipt Kids, Amy provides personalized care — from in-home support to pediatric occupational therapy — to ensure families across Birmingham have the resources they need to thrive.

Last night we attended Disability Rights and Resources’ Fundraiser to support the Next Step Resource Center. This facility is going to be an 🌟 AMAZING 🌟 resource for our community and those with disabilities or injuries to learn about home modifications and other adaptations to support independence and participation in daily life.

Amy is so excited to be a part of the design team! We cannot wait for this space to develop and change lives. For now, check out these initial renderings and please consider a donation toward the Next Step Resource Center 💕
