Sometimes the most healing thing you can do is rest before your body forces you to.

Stress doesn’t always look dramatic. Sometimes it’s just carrying too much for too long while continuing to push through.

Your body whispers before it screams:
✨ trouble sleeping
✨ exhaustion
✨ inflammation
✨ anxiety
✨ getting sick more easily

Rest is not laziness.
It’s communication with your nervous system. It tells the body: “You are safe enough to stop bracing.”

If life has felt extra heavy lately, this is your reminder that slowing down may be part of healing too. 🤍

Today I was in Oxford meeting with a new client, and on the way out I noticed something that completely made my day.

Inside the giant Mellow Mushroom metal statue’s leg, a little bluebird mama had made her nest. I stood there watching her fly back and forth feeding her baby, while another bird nearby sat on an electrical wire by the highway just singing away without a care in the world.

It felt like one of those quiet reminders that joy is usually found in the smallest moments.
Not the big flashy things.
Just life happening gently around us.

Maybe bird watching comes with getting older. Maybe it comes with slowing down enough to notice beauty again. Either way, these tiny moments of wonder are what make a day feel special to me now. 🩵

Healing, happiness, peace… sometimes they look like a tiny nest hidden inside a giant metal sculpture beside a busy road.

And honestly, I’m grateful I noticed it. 🐦✨

Happy May 4th ✨

As a kid, I loved watching Star Wars—curled up on the carpet in my little sleeping bag, usually falling asleep before the end and waking up just in time for the final moments. I still don’t remember every scene, but I remember the feeling… cozy, happy, safe.

Saw my first hummingbird of the season this week. I love those beautiful little dive bombers. Sadly my hummingbird food had turned into rock candy in my new feeder so he didn’t hang around very long, but hopefully I’ll have some more visitors soon. I’ve added some red and pink flowers to my porch in high hopes they will be drawn in. -wildlife

🌿 Your body was designed to flow.

So what’s getting in the way?

If you’ve been feeling tired, off, anxious, or just not quite like yourself…
it may not be random.

Sometimes the body isn’t broken—it’s simply responding to something that’s interrupting its natural flow.

When that flow is restored, everything begins to feel different:

More steady.
More clear.
More resilient.

You move through your days with more ease.
You bounce back more quickly.
You feel more like yourself again.

Not forced.
Not overwhelmed.

Just… supported.

AVOID RESENTMENT. Resentment (which is also bitterness) is a combination of disappointment, anger and fear. Like chronic anger it is bad for your health!
