Still processing this…

What began as a goal turned into something far bigger than we ever imagined. I’m reminded of Ephesians 3:20-21, “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to HIM be the glory”

Because of HIS work in this community, this ride raised OVER $20,000. . . 🙌 Our “Goal” was $10k🤯🤯🤯

That number represents prayer, generosity, sacrifice, early mornings, late nights, tired legs, encouragement, laughter, and people showing up for something bigger than themselves.

Every photo from this event tells a story — riders digging deep, volunteers serving quietly in the background, friends and family filling gaps without being asked. This wasn’t just a ride. It was a picture of community at its best.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who rode, donated, shared, supported, cooked, transported, encouraged, and believed in this mission.— thank you for standing with us.

From the bottom of my heart: thank you for being part of something that will have a lasting impact far beyond a single day of bicycle riding in the neighborhood.
I’m humbled, grateful, and honestly still blown away.

What started as a crazy idea turned into something truly special.

Over the course of this ride, 40 participants came together to complete 817 total (1 mile) loops and raised over $15,000 — all for a cause that matters deeply to us. That doesn’t happen without an incredible community.

Huge thanks to Bob and Sharon Opkins and Mike Brown for their support and belief in this event from the start.
Shout-out to Stuart Roberts and Sharon O. for holding down those brutal early-morning hours.
Massive appreciation to Josh Beam and Steve Dedmon for keeping people fed and moving with cooking and transportation.
And thank you to Jon Williams and Brian Toone for carrying us through the closing hours when it mattered most. Thanks to Bob's Bikes Inc for getting 7 bikes ordered, built, and ready for the event.

But the truth is, the primary legs behind this entire event were my wife — Eileen Zeanah . From planning and logistics to encouragement, patience with this crazy idea, and being the steady force behind the scenes, this simply doesn’t happen without her.

I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who rode, donated, showed up, prayed, encouraged, and supported in ways big and small. This was more than miles on a bike — it was community in motion.

No ride yesterday.
No miles logged.

Just a little time filling potholes and getting the road ready.

Not that kind of “prepare the way” —
just the very literal, very dirty kind.

But stewardship still counts, even when it looks like a shovel and asphalt instead of a bike and a finish line.

Less than 48 hrs away (from the start, 72 from the finish😵‍💫), this road will carry effort, endurance, and purpose—each lap supporting men rebuilding their lives through Brother Bryan Mission.

No backing out now.

Practice laps don’t look flashy—but they matter.

Yesterday, four riders were out on the loop getting familiar with the turns, the small climbs, and the rhythm that comes from riding it again…and again. Seeing you guys out here is a great encouragement!

This isn’t about speed.
It’s about showing up.
It’s about consistency.
It’s about getting comfortable doing something a little uncomfortable…OK… a LOT uncomfortable 😳

We’re officially less than 3 days away from the 24-Hour Recovery Loop.
Every lap being practiced now makes the real thing smoother—and more meaningful.

These miles are in support of Brother Bryan Mission, helping raise funds to purchase multi-surface bicycles for men rebuilding their lives through recovery.

One loop. One mile. A lifetime of impact. 🚴‍♂️

Today’s loop wasn’t about watts, pace, or training plans.
It was about neighbors.

A few friends from right here in the neighborhood hopped on their bikes, rolled a few laps, laughed a lot, and quietly started getting ready for the BBM 24-Hour Recovery Loop.

Some will ride a lap or two.
Some will ride longer.
Every mile still counts.

This ride has never been about one person.
It’s about community showing up in simple ways—on bikes, on Christmas Eve—to support something bigger than ourselves.

Grateful for days like this.
Grateful for these people.
Grateful for what’s coming.
