It’s OCD Awareness Week — a time to replace stereotypes with understanding.

OCD isn’t about being tidy. It’s a real, often painful anxiety disorder that deserves compassion, not judgment. Let’s talk about what OCD really is and end the stigma. 💙⁣

You may not know the impact that you have in this world. Your presence here matters. Someone needs you here.

We don’t do a great job of letting each other know how important each one of us is in the world, but it’s true.

You’re needed here, not for what you do, but for who you are.

Let’s let su***de prevention month be a reminder to reach out to people in our lives and let them know that they matter to us and we need them here.

Today, on 9/11, we pause to remember the lives lost and the incredible bravery shown in the face of tragedy. Thousands of first responders—firefighters, police officers, EMTs—ran toward danger when the rest of the world was running away. Many never made it home that day, and countless others have lived with the unseen wounds of trauma, grief, and PTSD ever since.

This day is not just about remembering what was taken; it is also about honoring the strength and sacrifice of those who gave everything. It is about carrying forward compassion for survivors, families, and all whose lives were forever changed.

May we never forget the courage, the heartbreak, and the long journey of healing that continues. And may we always stand by the first responders and veterans still carrying those scars—both visible and invisible.

September is National Su***de Prevention month, so let’s talk.

Around 50,000 people take their own life each year in the United States.

This is a 30% increase over the past 20 years.

Increased rates of su***de coincide with increased rates of anxiety, depression, and substance use disorder.

This is a serious problem, and it needs to be talked about. Don’t avoid conversations with people that you love. A conversation with someone who is considering su***de is always more helpful than ignoring it.

If you or someone you know is struggling with suicidal thoughts, please call 988. There is someone there for you 24/7/365.
