Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who fought for the equality of so many in America. The reality is, mental health equity is part of social justice. Healing grows in safe, inclusive communities. We are thankful for Dr. King’s work to create thriving communities full of justice and equality.

In a culture that rewards constant output, choosing to pause can feel uncomfortable, especially for people living with chronic stress, burnout, or PTS.

But doing nothing is not the same as giving up. It’s your nervous system getting a chance to reset.

Today, you don’t need a plan. You don’t need to be productive. You don’t need to justify rest. Simply being is enough.

To start off the new year, we are introducing Wellness Wednesdays.

Today we will focus on goal setting for the new year. Sometimes the start of a new year can make us feel like we should be doing more. When that voice appears, it is a great time to stop, reflect, and remind yourself that you are right where you should be. Goals don’t have to be big to be meaningful. Small, supportive changes create real mental health progress. Showing up for yourself daily matters more than big milestones.

Comment one small personal wellness intention you have for January!

While many gather around tables this season, some chairs remain empty. We are profoundly thankful for the military members deployed during the holidays and the families who bravely endure the distance. We pray for protection, comfort, and peace during this season. Your sacrifice matters. You are remembered.

Today and every day, gratitude is so powerful. It can shift our day, our perspective and our mental health. Pause today, and give thanks for the big and the small gifts in your life.

What are some things that you’re most thankful for today?

Today, on International Survivors of Su***de Loss Day, our hearts are with everyone who carries the weight of a loss that changed their world. 💛

This day is a reminder that grief doesn’t follow a straight line, that healing is not a finish line, and that surviving a loss like this means learning to breathe again in a life that feels different than before. If you’re navigating that journey, you are not alone. Your story, your memories, your pain, and your resilience all matter.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to a friend, family member, or a mental health professional.

💛 You are seen.
💛 You are not alone.
💛 Your loved one is not forgotten.
