May is Neurofibromatosis Awareness Month

Neurofibromatosis (NF) is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body. It can affect the skin, eyes, and nervous system, and each journey with NF is unique. For some children, like our friend John Charles, NF includes complications like optic pathway tumors that require ongoing monitoring and treatment.

Raising awareness helps increase funding for research, fosters early detection, and—most importantly—reminds those living with NF that they are not alone.

Please join us in honoring the strength of those affected by NF and in supporting the search for better treatments and a cure.
