8:30 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Friday

Pioneer Memorial Foundation Accepting Marie Swensen Scholarship Applications

The Pioneer Memorial Foundation is now taking applications for the Marie Swensen-Pioneer Memorial Nursing Scholarship and Pioneer Memorial Foundation Health Care Careers Scholarships.
The Marie Swensen-Pioneer Memorial Nursing Scholarship is to assist a senior at Viborg-Hurley High School planning to pursue a nursing degree. The selected applicant will receive a $2,000 scholarship.
Applications must be postmarked by April 6, 2026. For an application, contact Stacey Sorlien, Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services Public Relation and Marketing Manager, at (605) 326-3088 or your high school guidance counselor.

Pioneer Memorial Foundation Accepting Scholarship Applications

The Pioneer Memorial Foundation is now taking applications for the Pioneer Memorial Foundation Health Care Careers Scholarship.
The Health Care Careers scholarship program is designed to assist a high school senior or high school graduate who is pursuing or planning to pursue a health care degree at a post-secondary two or four year college, university or vocational-technical program. The selected applicant will receive a $1,000 scholarship. Applicants must have graduated from one of the following high schools: Viborg-Hurley High School, Centerville High School, Parker High School or Irene-Wakonda High School.

🎉 The 90-Day DXA Challenge is Back for 2026! 🎉
Kick off the new year with a healthy start!
Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services is excited to do our three-month community Fat Loss Challenge again next year, designed to motivate and inspire you to eat healthier, get active, and work toward your wellness goals.
💪 What’s the Challenge?
Participants will complete a Total Body DXA Scan at both the beginning and end of the 90 days to measure real, meaningful progress.
🗓 Scan Dates:
Your initial scan can be completed January 2nd – January 31st during regular business hours.
💲 Cost to Join:
Only $40, which includes both your pre- and post-challenge body composition scans!
