8:30 AM-8:00 PM on Monday's
8:30 AM-5:00 PM Tuesday-Friday
9:00 AM-12:00 PM Saturday
Closed Sunday

Parker Medical Clinic hours are:
8:30 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Friday
Closed Saturday and Sunday

Centerville Medical Clinic hours are:
8:30 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Friday
Closed Saturday and Sunday

Centerville Medical Clinic Welcomes Sierra Stroeing, PA-C

Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services is pleased to announce the hiring of Sierra Stroeing, PA-C. Sierra obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Minnesota in 2021 and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at University of South Dakota in 2025. Prior to PA school she received her CNA and became a GI tech at Avera Gastroenterology in 2021-2023. During her schooling she did rotations in ER, Family med, Pediatrics, Plastics, General surgery, Pediatric general surgery, psych, OBGYN, and Internal Medicine
Sierra is board certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basis Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
Seirra grew up in Blackduck, MN and currently resides in Sioux Falls with her fiancé, Owen, and they are looking to hopefully move into the area. While not working, Seirra enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking and anything outdoors.
Seirra stated: “I am excited to become a part of the Centerville/Viborg community. I look forward to getting to know everyone.”
Seirra begin seeing patients at the Centerville Medical Clinic on Thursday, November 6, 2025. We are excited to have her join our medical staff at Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services. To schedule an appointment, please call (605) 563-2411.

Pioneer Memorial Hospital Announces Sherry Oswald Employee of the Month for October

Sherry Oswald, Resident Assistant for Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services, has been named as the October Employee of the Month. Sherry started working at Pioneer Memorial in July 2016.
In Sherry’s role, she is responsible for assisting residents at Pioneer Inn with their daily activities. She administers medications, serves breakfast and noon meals and assisting residents with cleaning, laundry, daily activities or just being there for them!
Sherry lives just outside of Viborg. She has 2 children; Cody Oswald and his wife Tina and their daughters Aria and Hattie, and son Chad Oswald. She also has a border collie, Buddy!
In her spare time, Sherry enjoys attending rummage sales, collecting antiques, going on tractor drives, riding ATVs, and listening to music. She also values spending time with her family and relaxing at home. Sherry has a special interest in learning about family and community history.
Those who nominated Sherry for this award described her as a so caring and always greets us residents with a smile and positive attitude. We look forward to seeing her and miss her when she isn’t here. She is such a great girl! We love when she brings us flowers from her garden and makes sure the bird feeders are full so that we can enjoy the birds. Sherry is a great asset for Pioneer Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
When asked what she thought of the award Sherry Oswald stated, “It is very sweet to be appreciated. I am very blessed to have this job. The residents are always so thankful for whatever I do for them. I love them like family. Super nice people!”
Sherry certainly demonstrates her commitment to teamwork and is an outstanding asset to Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services! We are blessed to have her here at Pioneer Memorial! Congratulations Sherry Oswald on a well-deserved recognition.
