I have been thinking about how to heal complex conditions since age 13. I spent years lying in bed stressing about all the ways the modern medical system was failing to heal us. I have also spent countless hours studying textbooks, watching documentaries, reading journal articles until everything finally clicked into place. I realized that if I wanted to find freedom in my health and life, I had to commit to focusing on whole-being wellness. I finally was able to create a holistic health plan that fit me. Free yoga + mobility class THIS Saturday
✨ 1/25 from 10-11am ✨

These classes are about dropping into our bodies and exploring how various movements feel within us

They are about connecting to breath and moving in new ways

Saturday classes are more active ~ designed to move the energy within us, challenge our muscles and alter our perception of movement a bit. In contrast, class next Thursday evening will slow us down and stretch us into new layers of ourselves.

I offer these classes for free because the benefits of yoga should be accessible to everyone. Although donations help to support me in offering more health services to the public, I want the focus to be on the medicine and the practice

One of the many ways is in regards to sleep and the nervous system

These 6 herbal allies are amongst my favorites for helping to nourish the nervous system AND promote sleep (by acting as hypnotics and sedatives)

Nothing exists without foundations...

Health is a perfect example of this.

If you want to remedy any health issue FOR GOOD, you'll need to address it at the deepest layer possible

That's what we call foundational health baby!

What does this mean?

~ You can take an over-the-counter medication to temporarily relieve congestion but if you want to get over a sickness ASAP you will need to consider eating crucial nutrients, clearing the nasal passage of any irritants, adequately hydrating, getting plenty of rest etc. etc.

~ You can take Tums to stop heartburn but if you don't address what is causing that heartburn in the first place... You'll end up spending a lot of money on Tums and you'll still be getting heartburn

If we want to feel our best and live a long life... We need to build our foundations

A simple, nutritious power meal:

High-quality yogurt is a super food in its own right BUT you can make it even more nutritious and healing by adding the following:

1 Tablespoon of Chia seeds
- make sure to hydrate them with milk or water -

2 Tablespoons of H**p seeds

1 Tablespoon of Flax seeds
- I highly suggest buying whole seeds and grinding it yourself (in a food processor) before use. Flax seeds oxidize quickly resulting in nutrient loss. So storing or buying pre-ground flax meal won't provide much benefit. Whole flax seeds may also pass through the GI tract undigested providing minimal benefit.

Each of these foods provide fiber and omega-3 fatty acids both of which are extremely healthy 💪

As with all high fiber foods... make sure you include enough water throughout the day. Failure to adequately hydrate can result in constipation while fiber + adequate hydration can help improve constipation.
