SEEKING NP OR HEADACHE SPECIALIST/NEUROLOGIST

Very busy (private practice) comprehensive headache clinic located in the Rochester area. We treat all types of headaches and facial pain through various methods: prescription medication, BOTOX, nerve blocks, trigger point injections, IV treatments, referrals to other specialties as needed. We have two infusion chairs in our office and also treat patients on an urgent basis so they can avoid going to the emergency room. We work closely with other neurologists who do not perform IV or injection therapy, as well as offer second opinions when requested!

For anyone who wants to specialize in headache this is an amazing opportunity! We are experiencing rapid growth and have a fantastic relationship with our community of patients and providers! We typically get between 60-90 referrals each month and that number continues to grow.

In honor of Alex Pretti - a true hero. His life and death need to be acknowledged.

As a healthcare provider, fellow nurse, and human being I am deeply saddened by the senseless loss of Alex Pretti, RN. He spent his time caring for critically ill veterans at the Minneapolis VA - undoubtedly saving lives regularly. He gave his life coming to the aide of a woman being assaulted on the street, the same thing that the vast majority of us would have done. May he rest in peace and may we put an end to violence against our neighbors.

☃️Heidi will be out of the office starting December 19 and returning January 5! She will have office hours from 8-11am on December 29! She will of course be available by pager or patient portal if you need anything! ☃️

If you have been to the office over the past 2 weeks you likely met Dr Claire - a third year resident physician and URMC getting ready to become an Attending in Primary Care. It was so wonderful to have a P*P reach out with a desire to complete an elective rotation at our headache clinic - with the ultimate goal being better care for her patients. She recognized the significance of headaches and how disabling they really can be and wants to make a difference for her patients. Thank you so much Dr Claire - for both believing in us and trusting me to play a small role in helping you prepare to be the BEST provider you can be for your patients. They will be lucky to have you!!

We now have 2 infusion rooms!!! We have exponentially increased the amount of infusions we are doing and often would have to decline helping someone who needed an IV cocktail because our single pump was already in use and we only had one room. My cutest helper Jack and I moved the office around today and we now are able to accommodate to IV infusions at a time! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I see this happen exactly!!!

It is SO important to LISTEN to your patients!

I'm not a physician and a physician is not necessary to find this - you just need to see a PROVIDER who listens and has an index of suspicion because they have knowledge to know about this!

Unfortunately - you don't know what you don't know and then patients suffer the consequences!
