I'm a triathlon/run coach that specializes in helping athletes turn their endurance dreams into reality. I do this through my 6 pillars of long distance success: mindset, endurance training, strength training, injury prevention, daily nutrition and sports nutrition. I believe to be the most successful athlete, and one who's body can train and race year after year, you must hit each of those pillars. I have an undergraduate and graduate degree in exercise physiology and sports nutrition. I'm a certified triathlon coach, running coach, and sports nutritionist (CISSN). I have been an athlete nearly my entire life, starting swimming at age 8, and swimming collegiately. I've been competing in triathlon for 15+ years, and coaching for 10+ years. So proud of Jessica and Karen for their Wineglass marathon races this past weekend. The weather was HOT 🥵 and they both did great!

Jessica had a goal of sub 4 and hit it!!! Which is especially amazing given it was her first marathon and in the mid 80s. Way to go!

A huge congratulations to Tori and Niki (pictured) at Barrelman 70.3. They both did awesome!

This is the perfect time to give Niki a shout out too on her increase in bike power. When she first started with us she was newer to riding and power. But with consistency and hard work on the bike she’s increased her FTP by 59% That is the largest increase in FTP I’ve seen. Way to go Niki!!!

Rounding out an incredible season, Ryan took 2nd overall at the Knight’s Fury Duathlon (Formulea Unum).

He was able to maintain his near 23mph (hilly) bike pace, but was just gotten on the last run. Way to push Ryan and what a great season!

When you’re consistent, and you put in the effort (and do it with a “sure thing coach attitude”) you will be successful.

She’s an Ironman! Jamie fulfilled her dream of completing a Ironman at Ironman Chattanooga last weekend. While it’s a downriver swim (non-wetsuit this year), the bike course and run course provide some pretty nice sized hills.

She embodies everything we stand for at Outfront Multisport and couldn’t be prouder. Her effort, attitude and consistency with her training paid off. She battled setbacks and pushed through. Way to go Jamie!

Two other fall sports focused on their performance nutrition: soccer and xcountry!

The foundation for any athlete’s success? Not just training, sleep or mindset, but nutrition is also key. I’ve taken a social media hiatus, but that doesn’t mean our athletes having been doing amazing things, or that I’ve been on vacation (just from social media). So let’s start to share and give the algorithm a jolt lol ⚡️

Earlier this month the RIT women’s hockey team had be in for a 2 part nutrition series. We talked about everything fueling: daily, game day, supplements, female specific, you name it. They were amazing. So excited for their season and to watch them thrive!
