📺 Tune in to KSTP Tonight at 9PM & 10PM! (⬇️ link in comments)

MORA Executive Director Danielle Fox will be featured on KSTP Channel 5 News this evening to share her perspective on a major development impacting Adult Day Services (ADS) programs across Minnesota.

This afternoon, Governor Tim Walz announced a sweeping response to Medicaid fraud concerns within several state-funded programs, including Adult Day Services. The state will now conduct third-party billing audits and pause Medicaid reimbursements for up to 90 days while investigations are underway.

Danielle Fox will discuss what this means for MORA and other service providers that support individuals with disabilities and older adults.

This is an important conversation about accountability, transparency, and protecting critical services that thousands of Minnesotans rely on every day.

Our Executive Director, Danielle Fox, had the privilege of representing over 200 providers across Minnesota alongside leaders from ARRM during a visit to the U.S. District Attorney’s Office.
Thank you to Acting U.S. Attorney Joseph Thompson for the invitation to meet with your team. Your sincere interest in hearing directly from quality providers, while addressing fraud, waste, and abuse, is deeply appreciated.
It was an important opportunity to share the realities of our work, highlight the integrity of our provider community, and reinforce our commitment to transparency and accountability.

🎃🕸️ Spooky Fun at the Bloomington Crisis Home! 🕸️🎃
Shoutout to the amazing Bloomington Rotary, who came out on October 6th to help us get the Bloomington Crisis Home ready for Halloween! 🎃✨
They brought the spooky spirit by hanging lights, stringing cobwebs, and turning the space into a festive, welcoming place for our residents. Even more heartwarming — a few Rotary members donated all the decorations! 💜

We’re so thankful for your creativity, generosity, and continued support. Can’t wait to welcome you back in November for a winter wonderland transformation! ❄️

🌪️🏡 From Crisis to Comfort: How MCCP Helped Rebuild a Life and Reunite a Family 🐾💙

When a powerful storm forced one of our community members from her longtime home, she faced unimaginable uncertainty, including separation from her three beloved cats. But thanks to Metro Crisis Coordination Program (MCCP), her CADI waiver case manager at MORA, and a network of compassionate partners, she found safety, support, and ultimately, a new beginning.

MCCP plays a vital role in helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) navigate moments of crisis. By providing timely, relationship-based behavioral supports and emergency coordination, MCCP empowers people to remain in their communities even during the hardest times.

This is more than a story about housing. It is about hope, healing, and what happens when systems of care truly work together.

💪🌲 Volunteer Spotlight: Kraus-Anderson at MORA! 🌲💪
A huge thank you to our long-time partners, Kraus-Anderson, who returned on October 2nd to help us clear the pathway to the lake at MORA! Their hard work made the trail far more accessible — especially for our vans that serve the area.
