MORA showed up strong at Disability Services Day at the Capitol! Hosted each year by ARRM, this powerful rally brings advocates together to champion individuals with disabilities and ensure legislators truly understand the impact of their decisions.
The Capitol was filled with energy as community members, providers, and partners came together with one shared mission: making sure every voice is heard and supported.
A big thank you to our employees, board members, families, and the individuals we serve who joined us for the special Rally at the Rotunda. Your presence made this day even more meaningful.

❄️ On Saturday, Team MORA braved the cold and took the Polar Plunge at Riley Lake Park in Eden Prairie, MN!

We’re incredibly proud to share that our team raised over $5,000 in support of Special Olympics. 💙

The Polar Plunge is the largest fundraiser for Special Olympics Minnesota, and every dollar raised helps provide year-round training, competitions, and support for thousands of athletes with intellectual disabilities across the state.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, cheered us on, and took the plunge with us. Your support makes a real difference!

Kim brings more than 20 years of experience in disability services, along with a deep commitment to person-centered care. During her previous nine-year tenure at MORA, she began as a Direct Support Professional and grew into roles as Program Coordinator and Program Supervisor. We are thrilled to welcome her back as our new Program Director overseeing ADS, Community Supports, and Recreation.

Kim’s leadership, experience, and passion for supporting individuals and teams make her a wonderful addition to this role.

We’re excited to share that Drama Interaction is partnering with MORA’s ADS program for 8 weeks! 🎭✨

Based in the Twin Cities, Drama Interaction is a nonprofit organization that brings creative, adaptive performing arts programs, including dance, music, and theatre, to individuals with disabilities, seniors, and youth. Their approach focuses on ability over disability, empowering participants through self-expression, confidence-building, and meaningful social connection.

Through inclusive, therapeutic, and engaging (sometimes beautifully improvised!) performances, their teaching artists create a space where everyone shines.

We are excited for all the creativity, joy, and connection this partnership brings! 💛
