Several MORA staff and board members attended the Mount Olivet Gala on Thursday evening!

This special event helps raise funds for MORA, Mount Olivet Home, Careview Home, Day Services, the Conference & Retreat Center, and Cathedral of the Pines Camp. During the program, our Executive Director, Danielle Fox, shared the incredible history and impact of MORA, along with our vision for continuing to grow and enhance disability services across the Twin Cities.

We are deeply grateful for this amazing community and their support of our mission. Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, and continues to believe in the work we do! 💙

This week we’re celebrating our nurses and sharing some of their stories 💙

Meet Andrea Taber, a MORA nurse whose journey into healthcare is rooted in compassion, advocacy, and personal experience. Inspired by her son, Andrea transitioned from cosmetology to nursing and has been making a meaningful impact since joining MORA in 2019.

For Andrea, nursing is about connection, person-centered care, and making a difference every day.

Shout out to our incredible MORA nurses. Your dedication, compassion, and commitment make a difference every single day. You go far beyond basic care, creating meaningful connections and ensuring those we support feel safe, respected, and valued.

At MORA Health Services, care is truly a team effort. Our coordinated approach includes:
• Registered Nurses in our residential homes
• Onsite partnerships with a dietician, pharmacist, and other health professionals
• Monthly on-site dental clinics with AppleTree Dental, offering a comfortable and familiar setting

Our nurses provide prompt, consistent, person-centered care by coordinating appointments, communicating with providers, monitoring treatments, advocating for needs, training staff, and spending meaningful time with each individual.

Big thank you to the amazing students from Southwest Christian High School for showing up and serving with heart on April 24th. 🍃💪

This group did a fantastic job of leaf blowing, raking, and preparing the yard for new grass at our Kingslane home. Their hard work made a real difference and helps keep our spaces beautiful and ready for the people we serve. 🌱
