Ruben offers free mental health counseling through Methodist Healthcare Ministries (MHM) for low-income and uninsured or underinsured individuals. He provides trauma-informed, strength-based care for adults and teens (12+), and sessions are available in both English and Spanish.

Meet Prada—one of the sweet animals I’ve had the joy of spending time with outside of sessions. Just a reminder that healing doesn’t always have to look like sitting still. Sometimes, it looks like sunshine, soft noses, and deep breaths. 🐴✨

Gulf Bend Center is proud to partner with The Vine School to host the Build Your Own Crisis Kit event! This FREE event is open to individuals of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and/or Autism.

Participants will build their own crisis kits, enjoy a Meet & Greet with officers from the Victoria Police Department, and have an opportunity to enroll in the VPD Jacket Program. The event will also feature a Resource Fair with local agencies providing helpful information and resources.
