It’s time for Camp Keimryn! It’s the Victoria Police Deparment’s Youth Camp for kids 10-14. If you have a child or grandchild that is looking for an activity this summer, this is a great one! It holds a special place in our hearts because it’s named after our office manager Askaskia’s daughter, Keimryn who passed after battling cancer.
**YOU STILL HAVE TIME TO REGISTER**
Campers must be 10-14 years of age prior to start of camp. The camp will begin on Monday, June 23rd and end on Thursday, June 26th, 2025.
Campers will have the opportunity to train with police officers, leading to a positive relationship between the Victoria Police Department and our youth.
Campers will participate in hands-on drills (Building Searches, Traffic Stops, SWAT Drills, etc...). Victoria Police Officers will instruct classes which include lectures, role-playing, and demonstrations in the areas of patrol unit familiarity, building clearing, CPR, K-9 demo, drone demo, handcuffing, and traffic stops. Texas Parks and Wildlife will be there showing some of their equipment and some native Texas wildlife may make an appearance! Outlaw Pass - Family Fun Center is also on the schedule for a fun day of games and go karts!
Our camp will provide each student with the opportunity to participate in team building activities which promote social skills, developing positive attitudes, and practices which are crucial for positive leadership in our community.
The cost to attend will be $60 per camper which will include a camp T-shirt and meals!
