Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers, and early detection plays a critical role in treatment success. When treatment is needed, Citizens Medical Center can provide the standard of care, both external radiation and internal radiation using brachytherapy, right here in the Crossroads region.💙

With two linear accelerators, including the Varian Edge®, as well as an HDR brachytherapy machine, Citizens is the only specialized cancer center in the region to provide multiple modalities all in one facility. These advanced technologies allow for precise, efficient care, often in as little as 10–20 minutes per session.

Citizens Victoria Surgical Associates has a strong history of providing compassionate, patient-centered surgical care for breast disease patients. Dr. Nicholas Metzger will now be adding breast surgery to the services he offers, joining Dr. Howell Finch, Dr. Hannah Starkey-Smith, and Dr. Anselm Tintinu in the fight against breast disease. Our surgeons continue to provide advanced robotic and minimally invasive procedures, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care close to home.
