Our Story
My business was founded on a "gut" feeling. Twice.
Let me explain.
My vision for Grey Feather began in my final semester of college in 2016. I knew I wanted to start a small business; I just didn't know what that looked like yet: Intuition. I scribbled logos in the margins of my notes during lectures searching for a greater meaning but still needed confirmation. On the last day of my first internship, my boss gifted me a notebook with a grey feather neatly tucked into it as a parting gift: First confirmation. In 2018, I was finally ready to register for a DBA but wondered if Grey Feather was still the right fit. A couple of weeks went by and one day while walking to my car I looked down and there was a grey feather perfectly situated in my path: Second confirmation. That was my sign.
Fast forward to today, and my creative process often revolves around a "gut" feeling first and foremost followed by a series of meticulous steps to connect all the details into a meaningful, cohesive design: Intentionality. This system of mine may seem a bit backwards, but over the years I've learned to trust it and I'll never look back. I take pride in each and every project I encounter and strive to bring out the best in every design. Details are so important to me and they mean even more when they are connected to a deeper meaning & tell YOUR story.
So if you're like me and have that "gut" feeling but still feel unsure, let this be your sign! I'd love to meet you. Let's create some magic together.
