✌️💛 PEACE, LOVE & GIVING BACK 💛✌️

We had a great time celebrating Hospital Week and recognizing our incredible staff at Citizens HealthPlex and Citizens Medical Center last week! As we continue that spirit of appreciation and care, we’re excited to give back to our community through our “40 Days of Giving” Donation Drive benefiting VCAM (Victoria Christian Assistance Ministry)!

VCAM is the largest food pantry in our region and provides food, clothing, and personal care items to individuals and families throughout our community. Together, our goal is to collect 4,000 travel-sized personal care items over the next 40 days!

We’re inviting both our HealthPlex staff and our amazing HealthPlex members to participate by donating travel-sized:

🧼 Body Wash
💙 Deodorant (Men’s & Women’s)

Citizens HealthPlex is proud to be an official host of the 2026 Murph Challenge this Memorial Day, Monday, May 25! 💪

To help you prepare both mentally and physically, we’re offering Murph Prep Classes every Thursday leading up to the event. Prep classes are open to HealthPlex members.

The Murph Challenge itself is open to BOTH members and the public, and we’re encouraging everyone to participate, no matter your fitness level!

We will offer:
✔️ Full Murph
✔️ Half Murph
✔️ 1/4 Murph options

The Full Murph Challenge includes:
🏃 1 Mile Run
💪 100 Pull-Ups
🔥 200 Push-Ups
🏋️ 300 Squats
🏃 Final 1 Mile Run

We were proud to have Bryan McAdams, Director of Physical Rehabilitation Services, and Malachi Cotter, Exercise Physiologist, represent Citizens HealthPlex at the recent Careers in Healthcare Conference hosted by Texas A&M University–Victoria.

They had the opportunity to speak with high school seniors and college students who are interested in pursuing careers in healthcare.

Citizens Medical Center is now hiring a full-time Physical Therapist for our hospital-based outpatient clinic located inside Citizens HealthPlex in Victoria, Texas.
