✨I want you to remember that taking time for YOURSELF is not selfish, it’s necessary.✨

•Burnout is real. Whether it’s from life, work, being a parent, surviving.
•You need time to recharge yourself and focus on healthy habits.
•You can’t pour from an empty cup.
•You are important and deserve to be treated as a priority.
•YOU are worthy.
•We are so accustomed to the “go, go, go” it doesn’t allow us to take time and truly see where we need to stop and reflect.

Please, use some time today to allow yourself some minutes of silence or just sitting and taking a break. Therapy is also a great tool for utilizing time to focus on yourself. I’m here if you want someone to talk to! 🤍

After a much-needed pause to rest and recharge, I’m ready to begin working with a few new therapy clients.

✨Small Business Tuesday✨
Hi everyone! It’s probably time to reintroduce myself and what services I offer. My name is Alyssa Patek and I’m an LPC located in Texas. I offer virtual sessions at the moment and it helps being able to connect with people from all over Texas. I work with all ages and have specialties in anxiety, depression and trauma.

My goal is to be a safe space for you to share your thoughts and experiences. I never want you to feel judged while sharing your emotions. There’s a lot going on in the world and nothing is too small or too “silly” to share. If you’re interested in services or have any questions feel free to message me. Watching the news and seeing the tragic loss of lives due to the flood is weighing heavy on my heart. As a therapist we strive to help individuals with grief and traumatic events. I have joined the list of clinicians to help with offering services to those that have been affected by the flooding.

I pray for those that are still needing to be found and the families that are going through the pain of not knowing where their family members are. I may not be able to go help but this is my way to offer help! I am offering a sliding scale to those that are interested in services impacted by the flooding. If you need someone to talk to, please reach out. You don’t have to face this trauma alone. 🫶🏽

✨Be Kind✨-To yourself and to others.
You never know what someone is truly going through or feeling. It’s important to be mindful of your struggles. Even though someone may appear with a smile or show up, they may be battling something in their mind, their health or something we simply don’t understand. Treat others as you want to be as well as to those you love. Life is hard enough, let’s not add to the pain of the world. 🤍
