Hey, I’m Shannon, the chef and owner behind Down Home Catering.

I’m a Texas chef with a passion for creating elevated Southern comfort food using fresh, whole ingredients that nourish both body and soul. My love for cooking grew through years of learning from cooking competitions, culinary classes, YouTube tutorials, and plenty of hands-on trial and error in the kitchen.

Outside of cooking, I love spending time with my family, exploring the outdoors, and traveling to experience new foods and cultures — all of which inspire the flavors and creativity I bring into every dish I create.

At Down Home Catering, I believe food should do more than fill your plate — it should create connection, comfort, and memorable experiences.
