📸💪 It was a day full of fun and creativity at Mercy House!

Some of our residents got moving with a little exercise using the hanging ball — a great way to stay active, build coordination, & share a few laughs! 🎯🏐

✂️ Meanwhile, others tapped into their artistic side, creating beautiful photo collages by cutting out magazine images that caught their eye. From favorite foods to dream destinations, each collage was as unique as its creator! 🖼️

Whether moving our bodies or expressing ourselves through art, we love finding joyful ways to stay engaged & connected. ❤️

This weekend, a group of our incredible Mercy House staff traveled to Burnet to help with the cleanup at Pafford Place — an Assisted Living Community devastated by the flooding over the July 4th weekend. 💔🌧️

With hearts full of compassion & hands ready to serve, our team rolled up their sleeves to sort through debris & personal belongings, offering comfort and support to those who lost not only their home, but a part of their family.

While some were on the ground in Burnet, others were busy delivering the many generous donations we collected for our neighbors across the Hill Country — distributing muck kits, water, tools, hygiene supplies & food to those in need.

It was a weekend of giving back, with Staff from across our Mercy House locations, coming together to serve in any way they could. It was humbling to witness the strength & resilience of the people we met — and an honor to walk alongside them during such a difficult time.

We are grateful to be part of something greater than ourselves — showing up with love, dignity, & grace, every single day for our Residents & their families. 💙🙏

THANK YOU from the bottom of our❤️hearts‼️

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible outpouring of love and support we’ve received during our flood🌊relief drive for families in Hunt, Texas.

THANKS to the generous donations from so many of our amazing families, Care Partners& wonderful community organizations—Day&Night Medical Supply & Hospice of S.Texas—we are loading up & delivering a large haul of much-needed supplies to those affected by the devastating💦flooding.

✨From hygiene products to cleaning supplies, clothing, &medical items—every single item will make a difference in someone’s life during this difficult time.💪

💫These pictures are just a glimpse of the generosity we’ve witnessed, and we couldn’t be more proud of our Mercy House community. 🤟🏻Thank🫶🏼you for showing up with full hearts&helping us spread hope to those who need it most.👏🏻🫶🏼👏🏻

Our hearts go out to our neighbors in the Hill Country that have been devastated by the recent flooding, & we’re coming together to help‼️

Mercy House is collecting essential food & supplies to deliver this Saturday to those in need. Donations can be dropped off Monday–Friday (place in the totes provided in the 1st house).

📦 What’s Needed:
• Hygiene Products (soap, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine items)
• Non-Perishable Food
• Bottled Water
• Baby Items (diapers, formula)
• Pet Supplies
• Flashlights
• Batteries
• First Aid Kits
• Bleach
• Shovels
• Trash Bags
• Socks
