Lunenburg Medical Center & Amelia Healthcare Center Welcomes New Physician

Southern Dominion Health System, Inc. is pleased to welcome Dr. Emily Kluball to our medical team. Dr. Kluball brings with her a strong background in family medicine and a passion for patient-centered care.
Dr. Kluball completed her residency at the Shenandoah Valley Family Medicine Residency Program and earned her medical degree from VCU Medical College of Virginia. She also holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond. She is board certified in family medicine.
Prior to joining SDHS, Dr. Kluball practiced at Bon Secours Mercy Health at Ironbridge Family Practice in Chester, where she cared for patients of all ages. She has a particular interest in pediatrics, dermatology, and promoting preventative lifestyle habits to support long-term wellness.
Dr. Kluball lives in Powhatan with her husband and two daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, raising chickens, doing arts and crafts with her girls, and staying active in her church community.
We are excited to welcome Dr. Kluball and are confident she will be a great addition to our healthcare family and the communities we serve.

Southern Dominion Health System, Inc. Welcomes New Dentist

Southern Dominion Health System, Inc. (SDHS) is proud to welcome Dr. Adam Plaster, DDS, to our dentistry team. With 25 years of experience in the field, Dr. Plaster brings a deep passion for patient care and a strong foundation in general dentistry.
Dr. Plaster is originally from Southwest Virginia, he grew up in a family closely tied to the coal industry. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1993, earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Radford University in 1996, and went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2000.
Dr. Plaster has spent much of his career running a successful private practice, where he focused on providing essential dental services such as fillings, dentures, extractions, and cleanings. He takes pride in offering practical, high-quality care to patients of all ages.
He now lives in Richmond, Virginia, with his wife of 20 years and their two children. Their daughter will be entering college this fall as a Division I athlete, and their son is beginning high school and is active in tennis. In his free time, Dr. Plaster enjoys vacationing and fishing with his family, working out and training with his kids, and is also an avid auto racing enthusiast—having raced cars throughout his teens and early twenties.
SDHS is excited to have Dr. Plaster join our dental team and looks forward to the expertise and compassionate care he will bring to our patients and communities.
