How long have you been in this role, and how long have you been at Excel Scientific?
• 4 Months as Fulfillment lead, 5 ½ years with Excel Scientific.

What is required of someone who is in this role?
• Attention to detail, problem solving and multitasking.

What is your favorite part of this job?
• I take pride in being deeply involved in nearly every facet of production and customer order fulfillment, which allows me to contribute meaningfully across the entire process. My role also provides the opportunity to interact with associates regularly and to mentor team members.

What do you like about Excel Scientific as a company/employer?
• I'm fortunate to work under exceptional leadership and have access to incredible opportunities for growth.

What would you say to someone who wanted to have a job like yours?
• If you enjoy being hands-on, solving problems, and seeing the direct results of your work, you'd probably love this kind of role. It involves a bit of everything—production, logistics, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. It helps to be adaptable, detail-oriented, and ready to jump in wherever you're needed. If you're someone who likes staying busy and learning on the go, it's a great fit.

Omar Godinez, Procurement and Regulatory Compliance Manager, has been in his role for 1.5 years with a total of nearly 11 years at Excel Scientific. What is his job like?

What is required of someone who is in this role?
• To succeed in Procurement, you need strong analytical skills, accurate forecasting, effective negotiation abilities, and the flexibility to adapt in a constantly changing environment. In Regulatory Compliance, you’ll need clear communication, consistent follow-up, a solid understanding of regulations and willingness to keep learning.

What is your favorite part of this job?
• When asked about my favorite part of this job, I’d say it’s getting to interact with all kinds of people and the fact that no two days are ever the same.

What do you like about Excel Scientific as a company/employer?
• Excel has given me a lot of opportunities and has taught me so much along the way.

What would you say to someone who wanted to have a job like yours?
• I’d tell them: ask a lot of questions, and never assume you know more than everyone else. You’ll be surprised how much you can learn from the people you work with if you take the time to listen.

Gabe brings 20+ years of finance leadership experience to our team, having served in senior roles at companies like Dynatronics, Element Electronics, Bluestem Brands, and Best Buy. He has a proven track record of helping organizations grow through smart financial strategy, data-driven decision making, and strong operational leadership.

Outside the office, Gabe enjoys traveling with his wife, trying new restaurants across the Twin Cities, and supporting his two high schoolers at dance, football, basketball, and softball events. If he gets the chance, you might also find him sneaking in an early morning round of golf or hitting the slopes out west during the winter.
