20 of our AGH teens got the royal treatment at Dodger Stadium — home of the 2024 World Series Champion Dodgers 🏆💙
From selfies with the trophy 📸, wings + mac & cheese 🍗🧀, custom jewelry 💍, hair styling 💇‍♀️, and goodie bags 🎁 … to the moment they opened jerseys with their own names on them 👕 — the joy was unforgettable.
One teen said, “I’m wearing mine to school tomorrow.” Another whispered, “I feel famous. They told me I look like a princess.”
Thank you Dodger Wives, Prom Series & the Los Angeles Dodgers for giving our girls a night they’ll carry in their hearts forever. 💙👑

Kinship Month Spotlight: Meet Carmen ❤️

In honor of Kinship Month, we’re celebrating the incredible caregivers who pour love and dedication into their families. Each Friday this month, we’ll highlight one of our amazing kinship caregivers. Today, we’re honored to share about Carmen.

Carmen’s love and care for her grandchildren shines brightly. She advocates for them fiercely, always reminding them that they can reach for the stars.

When asked, “What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver?”, Carmen shared:

“Yo disfruto mucho de ser cuidadora de mis nietos porque siento ese amor que les doy y me dan, y comparto mis alegrías. Que Dios los bendiga, simple.”

And when asked, “What words of advice would you give to another kinship family?”, Carmen offered:

“Yo los invito a darles esa felicidad que tanto la necesitan. Cuando tú le das amor a un menor, Dios te regresa en bendición.”

Gracias, Carmen, por ser un hermoso ejemplo de cuidado de parentesco. Su historia nos inspira a todos.
