Regency SouthernCare Hospice of Vidalia is seeking enthusiastic volunteers for the following positions:

1. Direct Patient Volunteer- Volunteers can provide brief caregiver relief visits for caregivers to run errands or just to take a break. No hands-on care provided by volunteers; this is simply a companionship position. Volunteers can also provide companionship visits to clients who would like extra company, just to chat, read to them, watch TV with them, etc. Again, no hands-on care, just companionship. Must be 18 and must have their own transportation.

2. Administrative Volunteer- Prepare bereavement mailings, assist with assembling admit packs, answer phones, and perform other clerical duties as assigned. Must be 16 with parental consent, 18 years old, no parental consent required, and must have their own transportation to and from the office.
