Today was a great day—even in the midst of the busy pace of clinic! In addition to caring for patients, I spent the afternoon laying the foundation for some exciting new changes coming in 2026.

I’m especially grateful to Dr. Alice Hoyt of the Hoyt Institute of Food Allergy (located right in my old neighborhood in Metairie, Louisiana⚜️) for graciously sharing her experiences with me during precious family time. Her institute provides evidence-based, family-centered food allergy care, with expertise in advanced diagnostics, oral and sublingual immunotherapy, and comprehensive education for patients and families. Dr. Hoyt has built a practice that truly sets the bar for thoughtful, innovative food allergy management. Gosh, Louisiana is so lucky to have her!

As I look ahead to 2026, I’m intentionally raising my benchmarks for excellence—committing to innovation, compassion, and truly exceptional outcomes for the patients and families we serve.

Our specialty is filled with collaborative, generous allergists, and I’m continually grateful for this sense of community—even among colleagues who begin as strangers.

🐪 Happy Wednesday! What a beautiful day to serve the most wonderful patients! What we do in the office is completely life-changing!

I saw a patient yesterday who has been free from sinus infections for almost a year, feels great on almost no medication, with nasal and sinus symptoms that used to be completely debilitating are now resolved. His allergies are completely controlled with immunotherapy, and he couldn’t be happier!

We have new patient appointments available as soon as next week! The best way to request an appointment is through our website.

I’m posting a little late because we spent a busy Veterans Day serving our patients.

As Veterans, both Dr. Aukstuolis and I know that service comes in many forms. What began in uniform has evolved into caring for our community every day — listening, healing, and helping people feel better and improve their quality of life.

Dr. Aukstuolis and I were very fortunate to participate in a hands-on rhinoscopy training course earlier today at the Annual Meeting. It was an incredible opportunity to learn directly from some of the most experienced allergists in nasal endoscopy, who are true pioneers in our specialty.

Rhinoscopy provides an invaluable, real-time view of the nasal passages and upper airway — enhancing our ability to evaluate chronic nasal congestion, nasal polyps, chronic sinusitis, persistent cough, structural abnormalities, etc. that impact airway function.

We’re excited to bring this advanced technique to our practice next year, further refining our diagnostic precision and elevating patient care through visualization and direct assessment.

2026 is not ready for us!!👃

Thoroughly enjoying the ACAAI Annual Meeting in Orlando this week. It has been an inspiring experience filled with valuable learning about emerging therapeutics, advances in allergy care, and practical pearls for optimizing practice management.

What stands out most is the incredible sense of community within our specialty—meeting so many talented and generous Allergist Immunologists who openly share their expertise, welcome colleagues into their practices, and model true collaboration. It has also been wonderful reconnecting with longtime friends and meeting exceptional fellows who represent a bright and promising future for our field.

The future of Allergy and Immunology feels both exciting and full of possibility.🌱

What a transformative meeting - the EntreMD Business School Vision Retreat - the place where physicians grow in mindset and develop the most impactful and innovative businesses!

💡Intentions and goals have been set for 2026, and I have a clear roadmap to achieve them.

The doctors of EBS are doing incredible things in every single space, from running incredible practices to impacting change in national guidelines. I’m so grateful to learn from all of them and to be in their orbit.
