A Serious Reminder: Why You Should Never Get Injectables Outside a Medical Setting ⚠️

With so many videos going viral of people doing DIY Botox and filler at home, it’s important to remember that injectables are medical procedures—not beauty hacks.

This patient came to us after getting filler injected into her nose by an unqualified individual in a basement. Filler in the nose is one of the riskiest areas to inject. She suffered a vascular occlusion that could have resulted in tissue loss.

Thankfully, through multiple sessions of filler dissolving, prescribed medication, and oxygen therapy, we were able to save her nose. We later began a treatment plan including microneedling and PRP to minimize scarring and restore skin health.

✨ Always trust a licensed medical injector in a sterile, professional environment. Your safety is worth more than a shortcut. Just because it may have been cheaper doesn’t mean it will be good for you.
