The docuseries is produced by Day's Edge Productions with Nate Dappen, Ph.D., and Neil Losin, Ph.D., as series producers and directors. That's Dr Dappen's son and production team, and proud father Dr D. is excited to promote it. It's a six part series that premiered last night on PBS and will continue to air on Wednesdays, - August 9, at 9 p.m. ET. The series covers human’s impact on our planet through an evolutionary lens and delves into a deeper understanding of the issues surrounding climate change and exploring its intersections with conservation, biodiversity and the ecosystem. Attention: DFM is in the process of updating our billing system. We will soon be requiring all patients to have credit cards on file with our secure electronic medical records system. If your credit card is already on file, please contact Gail to authorize and ensure all of your information is correct. Sometime in the future, those who do not have up-to-date credit cards on file will have a transaction fee and/or yearly administrative charge. Minions, Roadrunner, or Sheer: we've got you covered for your flu vaccine this season. We're almost halfway through October and according to the CDC; preferably, everyone should be vaccinated by the end of this month.
In an ideal world, the flu shot would take effect right away, but it takes up to two weeks for your body’s immune system to create the necessary antibodies to fight off the flu so you’re protected against getting sick.

Although no cases have been reported in Virginia, we recommend becoming familiar with what Monkeypox looks like and how it is transmitted to help you stay better informed. Knowledge is power! Virginia Department of Health has provided this great fact sheet that provides a great intro summary on the illness and virus.
