With what seems like constant change happening within the pharmacy community, we invite former FRUTH Pharmacy patients to our store. We are LOCALLY owned and for nearly 20 years, our customers have been the center of everything we do!! We offer unique services including, vaccinations, pill pack, delivery, gifts, cards, WVU and local team items, and more!!
May we also remind patients who have Medicare Part D plans it is now OPEN ENROLLMENT. Please check with your insurance company to make sure you can continue to fill prescriptions at a locally owned pharmacy for 2026!! Some supposedly WV companies gettng into Medicare plans next year (one with a booth set up right outside our pharmacy) will NOT allow you to fill your prescriptions at a locally owned pharmacy!! Imagine that, a WV owned healthcare company that won’t allow you to support small community pharmacies in the state of WV. 🤨 This is the root of the problem and why so many pharmacies are closing!! The large companies monopolize healthcare and drive small businesses out of our state. So if you have questions about your plan for 2026 please inquire with the plan that you can fill your prescriptions at locally owned pharmacies!! It’s not too late to make changes!! Open enrollment goes through Dec. 7th!! Call 📞us with any questions about this or easily transferring your prescriptions today!! We will make the process seamless for you!!

Please be advised that a PLANNED POWER OUTAGE has been scheduled for our area affecting Bond’s Drug and the medical complex at WVU Medicine (formerly Mid-Ohio Valley Medical) for Friday, October 24th. Today we honor and raise awareness to the lives lost in our profession. Being a pharmacist is a high honor, but it also comes at a toll both mentally and physically regardless of what practice setting you work in. We have helped the helpless, we have prayed together in good news and bad, we have held our patients and cried tears of joy and tears of despair. We want to bring awareness to this day, but also want to lift up all pharmacy workers in all aspects of our profession. You are loved, you are needed, and our communities and our country could not do it without you. You are not alone !!!

Pharmacy is more than a profession — it’s a community. And today, on Pharmacy Workforce Su***de Awareness Day, we pause to honor that community by standing with our colleagues who may be struggling.

Su***de rates among pharmacists are nearly double those of the general population. Together with ASHP, APhA is calling on our profession to show up for one another: raise awareness, break stigma, and remind every pharmacy professional that they are not alone.
