My dad had a major back surgery at the age of 80, hoping to find some relief from the neuropathy caused by the devastating effects of Agent Orange. During the procedure, the surgeon mentioned he couldn’t position my dad’s shoulder the way he wanted because it simply wouldn’t move.

After surgery, Dad was experiencing more pain in his shoulders than in his back. I decided to work gently on his neck and shoulders, as well as using the heated scraper. Little by little, his muscles loosened, and I could see the tension leaving his face.

Not only did his pain ease, but his range of motion improved. Seeing him move more comfortably was a powerful reminder that massage, combined with love and care, can make a real difference in someone’s healing journey.

We pray that this will give him a better quality of life ❤️❤️🙏🙏

Life can feel overwhelming—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Hormonal changes, brain fog, fatigue, cluttered environments, and even more cluttered thoughts. Some days, it’s hard to know where to begin.

💚 Choose one small thing that brings you a moment of peace, pleasure, or clarity. Something that eases your load, not adds to it.

✨Here are some Self-Care Reset Ideas

1. Body Reset:
*Stretch your arms overhead
*Take 5 deep belly breaths
*Go for a short walk
*Dance to your favorite song
*Soak in a warm bath with Epsom salts

2. Mind Reset:
*Journal for 5 minutes
*Repeat a calming mantra: “I am grounded. I am supported.”
*Step away from screens for 30 minutes
*Do a quick guided meditation
*Write down 3 things you’re grateful for

3. Space Reset:
*Light a candle or incense
*Open a window and let fresh air in
*Declutter just one surface
*Play calming or energizing music, depending on what you need

4. Nervous System Reset:
*Try legs up the wall for 5 minutes
*Rub a little essential oil on your wrists
*Massage your hands or feet

5. Energy Reset:
*Say “no” to one thing today

It's traveling time!

We’ve all experienced it—navigating a packed airport with a rolling suitcase, lifting a carry-on into the overhead bin, or heaving a heavy bag into a car trunk. It might seem straightforward, but doing it the wrong way can lead to aches, strains, or even serious injury.

Here are some simple ways to lighten the load and protect your body while traveling:

Distribute weight evenly – Place heavier items near the wheels (bottom of the suitcase) so it’s easier to roll and less likely to tip over.

Use compartments – Separate items using built-in sections or packing cubes to keep the weight balanced and prevent shifting.

Only pack what you need – It’s tempting to bring everything “just in case,” but overpacking means more strain on your body. Be honest about what you’ll actually use.

Use two bags if needed – Instead of cramming one bag full, split your load into two manageable pieces (like a suitcase and a backpack) to balance the weight

Make time for your wellness now, or you’ll be forced to make time for your illness later— Your health is your wealth.
