Today we honor and remember a beautiful life, a powerful testimony, and a woman who will forever be part of the heart of Hannah’s House — Jessica Bova 🤍
Jessica graduated from our one-year program on August 30, 2024, after courageously battling addiction for most of her life. What we witnessed in her was nothing short of transformation. She didn’t just complete a program — she embraced a new life, surrendered fully, and allowed God to rewrite her story.
After graduation, Jessica experienced the restoration so many pray for. She reconnected with her family and stepped into the role of mother with strength, love, and intention — becoming the mom her three boys had always longed for and deserved. That kind of redemption is sacred, and she carried it with such grace.
In February, Jessica received a cancer diagnosis — and she faced that battle the same way she faced everything else in her life: with courage, faith, and remarkable strength. She fought hard. She fought with everything she had. And even in the midst of that fight, her light never dimmed.
Jessica didn’t stop pouring into others. She obtained her peer support certification and continued to serve in the recovery community, going above and beyond to reach women still lost in the darkness of addiction — reminding them that freedom is possible. She didn’t just speak hope… she lived it.
She was a bright light — full of love, compassion, and unwavering faith. The kind of light that changes a room. The kind of light that points people straight to Jesus.
Jessica’s life is a testimony of Isaiah 61:3 — “He gives beauty for ashes.” And she carried that beauty boldly, helping others believe that their ashes could become something more too.
While our hearts grieve, we also rejoice in knowing that her story did not end here. The seeds she planted, the lives she touched, and the love she gave will continue to ripple through this community for years to come.
Jessica, you were deeply loved. You are deeply missed. And your legacy will never be forgotten.
