Due to the ongoing federal government shutdown, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has confirmed that Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also known as food stamps, will not be issued beginning November 1st.

Here in our community, we're already seeing an increase in need. And with additional federal programs, such as the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), also at risk of disruption, we anticipate the ripple effects of this shutdown will only deepen.

We urgently need your support to help meet this growing demand. If you're in a position to help, we would deeply appreciate donations of any amount through the following link: www.warrenfamilymission.org/give-now

And if you or someone you know needs immediate assistance, please reach out. We're here to help.

We recently were blessed with a new oven. Our old stove was an industrial stove that was not so kind to our pots and pans. So we are in need of some new pots and pans. We have created a list on Amazon that we will share but will appreciate any pots and pans you may feel lead to help us with. The list is just to give some ideas. We would love oven safe and the sautee/frying pans we do need to be larger since meals are being made for 8. We also are in need of cookie sheets as the ones we have fut our industrial oven but won't fit in the new one.

Help us in celebrating out most recent graduate!!
Beth arrived at Hannah's House on 8/27/2024 feeling broken and just completely tired of struggling in her addiction. She knew she wanted to have the life God intended for her but knew she needed something more, something different and long-term.
Beth was determined to fight for her life and regain what the enemy had stolen over all the years she struggled with addiction. She chose life, she chose freedom, she chose Jesus!
It has been a true blessing watching Beth grow over this last year. She has found her voice, her confidence, her self-esteem, and her worth. She has rebuilt relationships with her family and friends who never stopped praying for her while she was lost in the wilderness. She has stepped into the role of daughter, sister, friend, and aunt that God had always intended her to be in. Beth is truly beautiful from the inside out! She possesses wisdom and discernment. She is gentle and kind. She has an amazing sense of humor and genuinely cares about others. When she first came to us all of those remarkable traits were buried underneath a hard wall that she had built up during her time in the wilderness to protect herself. She spent a year pouring herself into the Word, learning her identity in Christ, and working alongside Jesus to remove that wall brick by brick. We could not be more proud of her!!!
Beth is now working at Hannah's House and living out back in our transitional apartments. She plans on gaining her CDCA so she can continue to go back into the darkness to show others there is a way out! We are so unbelievably proud of Beth and how far she has come. We truly can't wait to see where God takes her! It truly has been a blessing to be a part of Beth''s journey!!

Out of the Woods and Into the Light.

"My name is Ethan. Iโ€™m 24 years old, from Butler, Pennsylvania, and this is my story.

Like many young people, my journey started with hanging out with friends, drinking on weekends, and assuming life would eventually fall into place. But little by little, the drinking grew heavier, the friendships faded, and I slipped further into a life I never expected. Before I knew it, I was drinking every day and living homeless in the woods in Youngstownโ€”empty, hopeless, and wondering if this was all life had to offer.

Then came a conversation that changed everything. My stepdad told me about the Warren Family Mission. I decided to give it a chance, and that decision changed my life completely.

I've been clean and sober for the last six months. My time here has been unlike any other program Iโ€™ve experienced. The people at the Mission donโ€™t just talk about Jesusโ€”they live it.

The most significant turning point for me was the day I was baptized. Thatโ€™s when peace and joy began filling the places that used to feel so empty. For the first time in years, I could honestly sayโ€”I was happy.

Today, I stand as a new man: hopeful, grateful, and rooted in an unshakable faith. Iโ€™m living in Godโ€™s truth and love, and Iโ€™m living proof of what can happen when you give your life fully to Him."

My name is Michael, Iโ€™m 45 years old and Iโ€™m from Youngstown, Ohio. I want to share my story with you because I know there are people out there who feel hopeless, like their lives are too broken to be put back together.

My life started in brokenness. I was left on my grandparentsโ€™ doorstep in a trash bag, abandoned before I could even understand what life was. My childhood was marked by severe abuse, pain, and rejection. Those wounds followed me into adulthood, and by the time I was 20 years old, I was addicted to co***ne. I thought drugs were the only way to escape the pain, but they only chained me down further.

My life spiraled out of control, and there is no reason why I should even be alive today. I was shot nine times and overdosed twice. I stared death in the face more than once, and each time I woke up, I wondered why God even kept me alive.

God had a plan, though. In the middle of my mess, someone told me about the Warren Family Mission. I didnโ€™t know what else to do, so I picked up the phone and called. That simple act of reaching out became the turning point of my entire life.

Since coming to the Mission, I have found more than just shelter and recovery; I have found Jesus. Iโ€™ve learned that He has been with me even when I thought I was alone, even when I thought I was too broken to be loved. In Him, I have found healing. Today I live with hope and purpose. I am five months sober. All glory goes to God for saving me, and I thank the Warren Family Mission for being the hands and feet of Jesus in my life.

Ephesians 6:10-11 - Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devilโ€™s schemes.
