He sees patients over the age of 17, and has experience with endocrine disorders. He is a native of Orange County, California, and a Veteran of the United States Air Force. His undergraduate education was at the University of California, Irvine. He attended medical school at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, and completed his Internal Medicine residency through the University of North
Dakota, in Fargo, ND in 2009. He worked for the Indian Health Service for two years at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska, and subsequently worked in private practice in Bismarck, North Dakota. Dr. Starr enjoys spending his free time with his wife and children, as much as possible. He enjoys learning to speak Spanish, running and remaining active, as well as winding down playing guitar and bass. At Starr Internal Medicine, we offer primary care for acute and chronic disease, to include management of injuries, minor sprains, lacerations. We are not endocrinologists, but we have an interest in endocrinology, and have experience caring for patients with endocrine disorders. We see patients 17 years and older, but case-by-case exceptions can be addressed. Besides the clinic, we follow our patients in the inpatient setting at Wuestoff Medical Center, Melbourne.
