Salterra at Ashbrook was too busy to take as many pictures as usual, but it’s because we were having too much fun on our day trip to Wind Creek Wetumpka! Some of the residents left with more than they came with in their pockets, but regardless of money it was a super exciting trip!

For our new year of health and vitality Salterra at Ashbrook residents had four courses of fresh vegetables in cooking club. We discussed the nutritional value and how to get the most out of each vegetable and how to best season them with herbs and spices. First course was something new, parsnips in a mixture of spices; second was ginger honey carrots; third was bell peppers and onions with fresh garlic; lastly we tasted zucchini and mushrooms. Everyone loved it and felt amazing! 🫑🍄🥕
