The Neuromedical Center is Partnering with Our Lady of the Lake to host a Stroke Support Group. The first meeting will be Thursday January 16 located in the 6th floor dining room. We would love to see some of our current and previous patients attend!

Join us for the first Stroke Support Group meeting of the year, brought to you by The NeuroMedical Center Clinic and Our Lady of the Lake Health! 💚💙

Mark your calendar for Thursday, January 16th, at 11 AM. Designed for stroke survivors, their families, and caregivers, we’ll share coping strategies, recovery resources, and prevention tips.

This week we celebrated Employee Appreciation Week! With an around the world theme, each day was filled with treats. Our hall was filled with post cards highlighting each employee and his or her role in our facility.

On the last day of April, (Occupational Therapy Month) we would like to express a huge shout out and thanks to our Occupational Therapists on our rehab team, Amelia, Kali, Megan, Kristyn, Linda, and Jimmy. They work exceptionally hard every day to help our patients achieve their goals!

Occupational therapists focus on helping patients maximize function in their daily living skills including arm and hand function, vision, cognition, fine/gross motor skills, coordination, community integration, and SO MUCH MORE.

Today, our Therapy Director, Jillianne Hart, PT, DPT, attended the LSUHSC Job fair in New Orleans, LA. She got to meet and recruit students from the PT, OT, and SLP programs.
