Are your feet aching again? Are you wondering if a simple shoe insert might help? It might. But depending on what the problem is, you could need an "orthotic" instead:
Orthotics are prescription medical devices that you wear inside your shoes. They can help with foot pain caused by medical conditions such as diabetes, plantar fasciitis, bursitis, and arthritis. Orthotics might even help you avoid surgery to fix flat feet.

Need help getting your toes ready for the beach?

Let’s talk about nail fungus, aka onychomycosis…

ANYONE can get a fungal nail infection. It’s true that some people may be more likely than others to get a fungal nail infection, but literally anyone can be affected!
Fungal nail infections can be caused by many different types of fungi (yeasts or molds) that live in the environment. Small cracks in your nail or the surrounding skin can allow these germs to enter your nail and cause an infection.
Fungal nail infections can be difficult to cure, and they typically don’t go away without antifungal treatment. The best plan of action is to come in and be evaluated for your best treatment option

There are over 100 muscles, tendons, bones and ligaments in the foot, so there are countless things that can go wrong. Here is some advice when dealing with foot pain...

-One of the simplest ways to approach foot pain: start by thinking WHERE exactly is the pain.

- Remember the mnemonic RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation)

-If your pain is severe, you should seek immediate attention. This is also true for severe swelling, and any evidence of infection including redness

- You should still schedule an office visit if you are experiencing pain that has not improved after several weeks or swelling that has lasted for several days

THE MOST COMMON CAUSE OF HEEL PAIN?
It's likely that you've heard of (or had!) "heel spurs"
To be more accurate, however, we should call it PLANTAR FASCIITIS
- Plantar Fasciitis is most common cause of pain on the bottom of the heel. Approximately 2 million patients are treated for this condition every year.
- Although many people with plantar fasciitis have heel spurs, spurs are not the cause of plantar fasciitis pain. Because the spur is not the cause of plantar fasciitis, the pain can be treated without removing the spur.

Why You Shouldn’t Ignore a Verruca (Wart)

DID YOU KNOW
- Verrucas Usually Get Worse?
Over tme, the pressure you exert on it when standing or in motion may force the verruca deeper into your foot.

- They Can Multiply!
The skin surrounding the verruca can get infected too, especially if you scratch the growth (warts often itch). So if you don’t treat it swiftly, you may end up with a cluster of them.
