September is Childhood Cancer Month… 🎗️

The most common types of cancer diagnosed in children ages 0 to 14 years are leukemias, brain and other central nervous system (CNS) tumors, and lymphomas.

These cancers are at an all time high 290 children are diagnosis a week with a 20-80% survival rate. It’s affecting young lives & families in need of support day to day.

This month we honor the children & families fighting & never giving up hope. 🎗️

🏥 It’s the season for Emergency Preparation, here are some things we often miss and when caring for others. In wake of an event that may lead to Power Outage,Flooding or Evaluation here are a few tips:

🏥Refill medication at least 1-3 month supply

🏥Keep a list of ALL medications, Diagnoses, Insurance Card in case of an Emergency

🏥 Catheters supplies changed before hand & extra set of supplies

🏥DME supplies readily available such as: Nebulizers, Tubing, Oxygen Tanks filled, Irrigation Sets, Peg Tube Feeding, Diapers etc...

🏥Above items placed in Ziplock bag to avoid from getting wet or damaged

🏥 If there is a History of Diabetes have snack and juice on hand at all times. Check Accucheck machine for properly functioning.
