🚛🌿 Exciting News for Evangeline Parish! 🌿🚛

Bayou State Waste is coming to serve the residents of Evangeline Parish! Our service will begin on Monday, June 30, 2025📢

Starting on or around June 9th, crews will begin distributing brand-new waste collection carts to homes across the parish. 🗑️✨

Please DO NOT put any trash in the new carts until the week of June 30th!

We’re looking forward to cleaner streets, reliable service, and a fresh start for Evangeline Parish!

Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to rollout day.

***EASTER SCHEDULE***

EVANGELINE PARISH SOLID WASTE COMMISSION OFFICE AND DUMPSTER SITES WILL BE CLOSED FRIDAY, APRIL 18, 2025 FOR GOOD FRIDAY.

THE DUMPSTER SITES WILL ALL BE OPENED ON SATURDAY, APRIL 19, 2025 WITH REGULAR HOURS. PINE PRAIRIE 8AM TO 5PM AND ALL OTHER SITES 8AM TO 12PM.

THE PINE PRAIRIE DUMPSTER SITE WHICH IS USUALLY CLOSED ON WEDNESDAYS AND OPENED ON SUNDAYS, WILL BE OPEN WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16, 2025 AND THEY WILL BE CLOSED FOR EASTER SUNDAY.

THERE IS NO CHANGE IN SCHEDULE FOR REGULAR GARBAGE PICKUP. ACADIANA WASTE WILL BE OPEN AND THEIR TRUCKS WILL BE RUNNING THEIR REGULAR SCHEDULE ON GOOD FRIDAY.

On 1/23/25, wellness will open at 10:00 am. Please be careful!

As we prepare for the expected snowfall and freezing temps- Wellness Plus will be closed on Tuesday (1/21/25) and Wednesday (1/22/25). If road conditions improve, we will reopen Thursday for regular hours. If in doubt about our hours, please call 337-363-9474 to check if the facility is open prior to traveling.
