We're set up at the 2024 RUNNING OF THE LOUISIANA TOURNOI, we have Burgers drinks pickles and cotton candy. All proceeds will go to ST. Judes Childrens hospital. The run is scheduled to start at 2pm if you can not make it be sure to tune in on Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI .

The 2023 St Jude Trail Ride sponsored by the Sheriff’s Mounted Posse of Evangeline Parish was a huge success. We would like to thank everyone that made this possible. The trail ride, auction, raffle tickets, and T shirt sells combined generated $ 24,282.61 for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The total amount raised through out the years by the Sheriffs Posse for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is $ 236,001.82 . Again, we would like to thank everyone for your support.

Two individuals, identified as Christopher Tezeno and Anthony Tezeno, have escaped from the Ville Platte City Jail and are being sought by police officers, according to Chief Al Perry Thomas.
