🎉 Exciting News!!! 😍

Vincennes Teen Center programming is expanding this semester! 🥳

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays: Old Town Players

Wednesdays and Fridays: Teen Section at Knox County Public Library

We’ll still have Hot Meal Mondays from Knox County Community Learning Kitchen, plus the same welcoming space to hang out and enjoy snacks.

This semester brings teen programming, activities, and opportunities at the library—expanding access to six days a week, including the library’s special Saturday events.

VanGo will continue to provide transportation as always. 🚌

We’re thrilled for this expansion and grateful to our amazing community partners. Team Work Makes the Dream Work!

Join us in congratulating McKenzie, our Community Impact Director, on completing her Master's in Public Administration!

Born in Wyoming and raised in Vincennes, Indiana, McKenzie's journey has been defined by her commitment to community and service. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Indiana University, she began building a foundation in understanding human behavior and social systems.

Following nine years in Washington County, Pennsylvania, where she married, started her family, and embraced the transformative role of parenthood, McKenzie returned home to Vincennes in 2018 with a renewed sense of purpose. She immediately immersed herself in volunteer work, contributing countless hours to her daughter's school and local community organizations.

In 2022, McKenzie brought her passion for community development to CFS, Corp., where she designs and implements programs that address real needs with innovative solutions. Her work focuses on creating sustainable, community-driven initiatives that strengthen the fabric of our region.

McKenzie earned her Master's degree in Public Administration from Murray State University in 2025, deepening her expertise in public service leadership. Today, she channels her education, experience, and personal investment in this community into meaningful change - building programs that will benefit not just her daughter's generation, but generations to come.​

Her story is one of coming full circle: raised in Vincennes, educated to serve, and now dedicated to lifting up the very community that shaped her.
