beverages.

colored clothing made from breathable fabrics.
3. Limit Outdoor Activities: Schedule outdoor activities for
cooler parts of the day. Avoid strenuous exercise
during peak heat hours.
4. Seek Cool Environments: Stay indoors in air-conditioned spaces
as much as possible. Call 211 to find cooling
centers, if needed.
5. Use Fans and Cool Showers: Utilize fans to circulate air and take
cool showers or baths to lower your body temp.
6. Check on Vulnerable Individuals: Keep an eye on elderly
neighbors, children and pets.
7. Recognize Heat-Related Illnesses: Be aware of symptoms of
heat exhaustion and heat stroke - which can
include heavy sweating, weakness, dizziness,
nausea and confusion.
